TAOS SCHOOL OF MUSIC

The Taos School of Music, celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2023, is widely recognized as one of the country’s preeminent summer music festivals and training programs for elite young artists.

CRESTED BUTTE MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Crested Butte Music Festival presents over 60 events each summer that feature the world’s best performers in symphonic, operatic, chamber, electronic, bluegrass, jazz and hot-club jazz. Additionally, the Festival offers myriad educational programs and camps.

  • Presented numerous world premieres, including the direction of the world premiere of a new production of Philip Glass’ multimedia opera, The Photographer
  • Introduction of multimedia concerts (food pairings- Big Gay Ice Cream; experimental films with music; interactive Fluxus evening; Jeeping concerts)
  • Increased diversity of music (EX: mariachi, LGBTQ composers / subjects) and inviting BIPOC performers
  • Presented full summer season with live, in-person performances during 2020, with balanced budget

VOXARE STRING QUARTET

The award-winning Voxare String Quartet has performed over 300 concerts in the world’s leading concert venues, received reviews in publications such as The New York Times and Washington Post, and recorded for numerous labels.
